    Abstract: 創新過程中需要創生知識，但也必須佐以組織之運作。現代企業為了因應快速變化的市場以及複雜專業的產品分工，跨領域團隊管理已成為企業的核心議題(Ancona and Bresman, 2007)。如何打造一支高績效的研發團隊，為企業帶來源源不絕的創新，是當代實務與學理持續關切的焦點。例如，Lipman-Blumen & Leavitt (1999)追蹤貝爾實驗室的「頂尖團隊」如何挑戰高難度研發專案。Ancona (2002)則稱這類高績效的頂尖團隊為「X-teams」。這種頂尖團隊不但專注內部協調，更密切追蹤外界環境變化。Hackman(2002)則認為，頂尖研發團隊的形成必須先讓成員習得「自我領航」的能力。
