    Abstract: 近年來，數位內容已成為網際網路發展之新的主軸；而在眾多數位內容型態中，應用於3D 線上遊戲的即時3D 動畫及虛擬實境技術是亟待突破的一環。這類技術的主要挑戰來自於擬真度與操控性往往無法兩全的困境。隨著電腦硬體計算速度的快速提升，圖像繪製的速度已有長足的進步，但在即時動畫產生與操控介面的技術上，卻仍有許多改進的空間。根據我們過去的研究成果及文獻記載，智慧型3D 瀏覽介面的設計，確能提升使用者操控3D 場景的效能。因此，我們提議以兩年的時間，以運動計畫演算法為核心技術，建立一套智慧型的3D 瀏覽介面，將電腦的部分計算能力運用於輔助人機介面的控制及即時動畫的產生上。第一年的研究裡，我們以第一人稱的視點運動為主要目標，重點將放在如何在平面場景中產生可動態調適的操控輔助介面，並提升由電腦所產生輔助路徑的品質。第二年則是以第三人稱的虛擬替身（avatar）的運動為目標，重點將放在設計有效率的運動計畫演算法，即時產生能避開環境中障礙物的人體運動。我們相信這類結合人工智慧與電腦動畫的研究將是未來數位內容發展的趨勢；而此時投入研發，除有助於我國提升此領域的學術地位外，並可創造出具實用價值的軟體技術。
