    Abstract: 自1981年臺灣詩人楊牧首次提出“白馬湖風格”以來，經過近30年的時間發展，逐漸形成明確的“白馬湖作家群”這一學術名稱與概念。本文回顧此一命題由模糊到清晰的形成與發展歷程，以及不同階段的研究實績與特色，依其發展的先後與成果的呈現，歸納為四個時期：起源期、開端期、發展期與深化期。作者認為，在既有的豐碩成果與堅實基礎上，一個符合客觀學理的“白馬湖學”於焉產生是值得期待的。
