Description:	10月3日，當盧武鉉與金正日仍在平壤進行高峰會議的同時，第六輪六方會談的第二階段會議在北京閉幕，會議簽訂了「針落實共同聲明第二階段行動」的共同文件，用以框架北韓走向終止核武研發的更具體行動。根據新華網分析，這個類似「路線圖」的積極成果，讓六方會談的進程「邁向了新的台階」。惟這項「具體行動」，或走向「新台階」的意義，似乎被南北韓「和平與繁榮宣言」的八點聲明所掩蓋，看來還是盧武鉉對北韓的作為，從平壤的角度來看較為實在。
