    Title: 徐幹的哲學典範及其荀學性格

    Abstract: 荀子哲學其實蘊涵著一個在華人文化氛圍里仍然具有普遍意義和親和度的普遍形式;整個荀學哲學史的發展,其實就是逐漸觸及、呈現這個普遍形式并且予以豐富地展開的過程。從這樣的理解出發,我們便可以得到一個全新的視野和角度來詮論徐干的哲學。徐干《中論》跟《禮記》、《中庸》篇一樣,都是對荀子哲學"中即禮義,中即道"的觀點的一個延續和禮贊。全書所謂"中/禮義/道",便是人事物的中正合宜的表現,或那表現背后的節度分寸,而不是一個所謂的純精神的形上實體。跟荀子、漢儒不同,徐干已經開始從正面意義來掌握人性,主張人性的美善并不完全但卻可以被純化到仿佛天生般的美好。徐干"大圣學乎神明"以及"圣人相因而學"的觀點顯示了天、人之間有連續的一面,也有發展、升進的一面。在"中道"的實踐上,徐干不講"復性"一路的工夫,而是強調言說、思辨與權智的重要,強調"盡敬以成禮"以及"積"的工夫,并且初步呈現了"積善成性"的思路。這些觀點,都顯示了徐干對荀子哲學創造性的詮釋與推進。可以說,在荀學哲學史上,徐干是漢代董仲舒、揚雄之后,西晉裴頠之前的一個重要的中繼;而《荀子》、《中庸》、《中論》以及隋代王通的《中說》的前后相續與一貫相通,則是前期儒學史上一個重要的學術"事件"。
