本研究的主要目的在於探討傳播界人士進修的主要學習動機為何？以及學習障礙又為何？並進一步探討學習動機與學習障礙之間的關係，對於傳播在職專班人士的學習的影響。研究結果發現，不同的學校呈現大小不同的學習動機，尤其在「汲取新知」和「職業進展」出現顯著的差異。另外，性別與學習障礙也有顯著相關。女性在職求學的平均學習障礙，也明顯高於男性。但是已婚者的平均學習動機則高於未婚者，學習障礙則明顯低於未婚者。雖然如此，不過大部分的傳播在職研究生都自認可以克服學習困擾的因素。 The purpose of research to probe into media what is main learning motivation that personage goes back to school? And what is main learning obstacle? And probe into the relation between learning motivation and learning obstacle, an impact on media personage's study of "the class on the job" further. Result of study find different school appear different learning motivation, especially in "absorb new knowledge" with "the job develops" appear the apparent difference. In addition, there is relation of showing between sex and learning obstacle. Women's learning obstacle that go to school on the job, is obviously higher than man. But the average learning motivation of the married one is higher than the unmarried ones, the learning obstacle is lower than the unmarried ones. Even so, but most media working graduate students think that can overcome the learning obstacle.
