    Abstract: 本研究計畫分成理論與實證應用兩部分進 行,旨在探討兩人賽局中合作與不合作策略的 交互關係.理論架構已大致完成,剩下的部分除 了修正擴充本模型之外,希望將此理論應用於 國貿理論中關稅同盟(Custom union)及區域經濟整 合(Regionaleconomic integration)中合作關係之探討. 已完成的理論架構部分,採用賽局中Bayesian equilibrium的解值觀念,在無限期可重複之賽局下 ,解釋了參賽者雙方何時會合,何時會分,合作之 期限多長,不合作的關係又為時多久,及指出在 何條件下有形成合作與不合作策略循環的可能 性.此研究的結果修正了「合久必分,分久必合 」的必然關係為「合久必分,但分久不見得會合」,同時也尋找出「福兮禍所藏,禍兮福所依 」的理論基礎.根據貝氏的學習法則,當參賽雙 方同採一樣的策略,為時一久便會逐漸地將對 方鎖定某一特定類型的對手.此時若自己違約, 對方加諸於己的懲罰預期值會逐漸變小,因而 形成違約的誘因.本研究證明了在賽局開始之 初,通常雙方會以不合作的態度應對.此時若一 方採合作策略(而對方仍採不合作)造成的單方 面損失小於雙方均合作可能帶來的利得時,則 原先不合作的關係可能轉為合作,而合作一久, 對於對方違約的戒心逐漸鬆弛,終至不合作.如 此循環不己.此方面的研究成果可用來解釋什 麼樣背景的國家較易形成關稅同盟或區域經濟 整合,而此合作關係的穩定性如何也可從此理 論架構中得到一些推論.
