Abstract:	僅管目前綠色對不同的人仍有不同意義，但為了永續發展，人類在追求與生態環境相容的奮鬥過程，無疑的會是當代最重要的社會現象之一。但到目前為止，管理學界對組織綠化的學術研究仍然十分有限。這是一個很矛盾的情況，人類有史以來最重要的組織轉化及典範移轉，竟是如此地欠缺理論建構，以及田野的實証研究。本研究即試著以不同的組織理論，如機構論、策略選擇論、自然選擇論、轉型領導論、組織學習論、組織進化論等來解釋企業組織的綠化，以及透過綠化的感覺、思想及行為之間的互動關係，指出有待研究的組織綠化課題。在實証方面以國內天下雜誌、工研院及宏碁企業三個機構的個案，提供一些初步的田野實証，企圖來了解：有何外界刺激因素啟動其組織的綠化？例如：是否有那些對環境的負面衝擊有不愉快的經驗；其領導者如何改變想法與作法趨向綠化？如何影響到董事會、工作同仁及其工作內容，使其產品或活動的綠化？這些綠化的產品及活動對社會及環境又有何影響？組織所訂定的綠化目標與理想，和實際作為又有何差距？
