    Abstract: 資料庫標竿是評估及衡量物件導向資料庫的重要工具，現行之標準效能評估方法如Wisconsin，AS3AP，TPC-C及TPC-D標竿是為關連式資料庫評估而設計的。至於OO1及OO7標竿是為測試物件導向資料庫在工程應用上的表現而設立的。但是OO1標竿僅限於單純的物件及運算，對於一般物件導向系統常見的複雜物件及運算無法模擬。至於OO7標竿是屬於較複雜的測試方法，但是對於複雜物件的含意及使用者最實際應用需求，無法模擬或表示。因而目前急需一項具備通用性及原真性的標竿方法以產生有意義具代表性的測試結果。本計畫將針對上述所需，進行開發及設計一項以需求方法論自動產生物件導向之標竿方法。本方法含有三項主要工具。第一是物件導向工作量模式語言，將物件定義及物件運算需求，納入其語法及語意中。第二是標竿產生器，將工作量需求規格編譯產生測試資料庫及測試運算。第三是實驗測試導向器，指揮及控制測試進行和資料統計量蒐集。另外為測試此方法的通用性、原真性、和代表性，我們將執行兩項實驗，每一實驗比較此方法與標準方法OO1及OO7的實驗結果，我們將使用較常用並在OO1及OO7已測試過的物件導向資料庫，Objectivity/DB和Ontos，來進行這些驗證實驗。
