    Abstract: Based on organization theories, this study investigates the relationship between integrated manufacturing technology, managerial awareness and human resource management system. The data were collected through a large-scale survey of Taiwanese manufacturing plants, randomly sampled from the population of manufacturing plants with 100 or more employees by industry. The results of analyzing data from 147 plants show that high degree of integrated manufacturing technology and managerial awareness have significant impacts on strict training and development, performance and competency pay, competitiveness of pay level, selective selection, employee share ownership, developmental and fair appraisal, human resource management system, Medium integrated manufacturing technology is positively associated with performance and competency pay, competitiveness of pay level, developmental and fair appraisal, as well as human resource management system. However, the interaction of integrated manufacturing technology and managerial awareness has only significant positive effects on strict training and development. In sum, integrated manufacturing technology and managerial awareness have direct impacts on human resource management. Also, the higher the integrated manufacturing technology, the larger its impacts on human resource management.
