    Abstract: 保險公司之市場競爭力、清償能力與不對稱資訊分析 本研究針對 (1)競爭力與清償能力 (2) 解除管制與市場結構改變及 (3)風險承擔與不對稱資訊等三項可能影響保險公司經營的議題，於三年期計畫中分別加以探討。第一年度計畫首先利用日本產險業自1983年至2010年的資料，探討其市場競爭力與清償能力間的關係。此計畫採用Lerner Index 作為衡量公司競爭力的代理變數，並採用GMM的方法衡量競爭力是否對公司的財務穩定度及風險有影響。第二年度計畫則利用中國產壽險業自2001到2009年的資料，來分析中國諸多解除管制的行為對產壽險業的市場結構是否有明顯改變。本文利用非結構法中的Panzar-Rosse 模型來分析市場結構的變化，並將與結構法中常用的集中度指數結果做比較。本文的結果或可對中國保險市場提出更清楚的政策意涵。最後，第三年度計畫利用產險業中大幅成長之董監事責任險，來探討保險購買是否與不對稱資訊有關。由於台灣金管會自2008年後要求所有上市櫃公司強制申報董監事責任險，本文即利用此獨特資料以2008年至2010年為樣本期間加以分析。針對近年來各國投資人保護意識興起，本文的結果或可提供監理機關是否應對董監事責任險及其所帶來的風險做進一步的規範。
