此三年期計劃擬探討新興國家企業如何利用海外關係增進能力. 計劃分兩個相關的子題. 第一個子題探討臺灣的OEM廠商對客戶關係資產的投入, 對其因應環境變化能力的影響. 第二個子題探討新興國家的企業是否可以藉由購併已開發國家的企業而達成能力的升級.兩個子題預定各以一年半的時間完成. This three-year research project aims to explore how emerging market firms upgrade capabilities through their relationships with developed country firms. It consists of two related studies. The first study intends to examine whether and how emerging market firms, by making investments specific to their foreign clients, advance their capabilities in managing technological uncertainty. The second study attempts to investigate whether and how emerging market firms upgrade their capabilities through acquiring developed country firms. Each of the two studies involves company interviews and empirical investigation, and expects to take 18 months to complete.
