The article discusses trends and developments in the fiction of Taiwanese author Su Weizhen and women's fiction in Taiwan. The author reflects on the epistemological aspects of Su Weizhen's early work related to modernist literature. The article tracks her transition towards ontological poetics in the tradition of postmodernist literature.
