As the development of technology, recently there are abundant data that have been digitized and those data need to be processed by informational techniques. We can find out hidden associations inside data by using the methods of social network analysis, in addition, social network analysis can provide more perspectives in data analysis. The core issue of our research is the power ranking of R.O.C. high-ranking executive officials. We try to quantize political power in objective perspectives and make our research be closer to real world. First we apply subordinate-and-supervisor relationship, days during subordinate-and-supervisor relationship, and mutual enforcement between officials into the constructing of R.O.C. high-ranking executive officials’ network. And next we use PageRank as our core algorithm, modified and refined PageRank to become more suitable in calculating the power ranking of R.O.C. high-ranking executive officials. It can be different kinds of results when we slice data by different times, therefore we can say that this research provides a new observing platform for political power of R.O.C. officials. In part of evaluation, we use hit counts of both Udn news and Google news as benchmark.
