| Abstract: | 本研究為97 年度研究計畫「當代西語小說中譯本在台灣出版的趨勢」(NSC 97-2410-H-004-168-) 的延續。有鑒於中西文翻譯研究匱乏，98 年度之研究將彙整及探 討中文典籍西譯本在西班牙出版的現況，跨越譯本與原著逐字比較的藩籬，以脈絡化的 觀念深入分析客觀事實所衍生出的各項議題，以進行此兩文化翻譯之整體觀照及特殊翻 譯現象之個別討論。 此研究將於「中文典籍西譯本之轉介與接受」的框架內進行，以3 年的時間逐一探 討3 個子議題：a.「趨勢：中文典籍西譯本在西班牙出版之現況」：觀察西班牙出版之中 文典籍西譯本之客觀現象，並將與97 年度之研究結果相互對照，作為相同時代、不同 文化背景之下兩個翻譯系統的比較；b.「榮耀：高行健譯作中心化之時空背景」：探討中 文作品首次居於西班牙翻譯文學系統中心位置之時空背景及相關要素，以及高之譯作文 本的策略和技巧；c.「跨界：幾米譯作在西班牙發聲」：從幾米繪本滿足語言傳遞之「言」 「意」「象」等條件，分析其作品如何跨越語言、國籍和文化的界限，成為近年來台灣 作品在西班牙發生的代表，及探討繪本翻譯之相關議題。以上三個子議題為本研究主 軸，將共同回應「中文典籍西譯本之轉介與接受」這個主題。 中西文化首次接觸並記載有案可上溯至15、16 世紀，然而幾個世紀以來神職人員 多以介紹東方語言及文化的著作為主，大量翻譯中文典籍是20 世紀下半葉的事。故近 幾十年可謂中文典籍西譯的高潮，亦是著手研究此主題的最佳時機。本研究將針對上述 議題進行深入探討，其重要價值為此研究本身的首創性及未來相關研究的參考依據。
The study is the extension of “The trend of the Chinese translation of contemporary Spanish Novels publication in Taiwan.” (NSC 97-2410-H-004-168-) Due to the lack of Chinese-Spanish translation, the study aims at the status quo of Chinese literary works which have been translated and published into Spanish. Unlike the traditional method, the method utilized in the present study goes beyond the word-byword comparison of the original works and their translation ones and moves on to the contextualization level in which the issues derived from the analysis of objective facts. As a result, the differences between two translation systems could be discussed in terms of the general and specific phenomena. In the three-year proposal, three research issues are addressed: a) Trend: “The status quo of Chinese literary works which have been translated and published into Spanish.”We proposed that after observing the objective phenomena of Chinese literary works which have been translated into and published in Spanish, we would further compare the result with data obtained in Ku’s study done in 2007, which occurred at the same time but different cultural backgrounds. b) Glory: The background information of the centralization the translation works of Gao Xingjian. We will investigate the background and related issues of Chinese work which has been first deemed as the center of Spanish Translation Literature System. Moreover, the strategies and techniques used in translating Gao’s works are also our concerns. c) transgression: The appraisal of Jimmy Liao’s translation works in Spanish. Fromthe words, meaning and images of Jimmy Liao’sworks, we analyze how the works cross the boundaries of language , nationalities and cultures, and become the representative Taiwan literary works in Spain. The three sub-issues are our main focus, all of which surround the topic of “ the translation of Chinese literary works.” The first contact of Chinese and Spanish Culture could be dated back to the 15th or 16th century. However, for centuries, the priests have focused on introducing works concerning Oriental language and culture while the large amount of translation of the Chinese literary works appeared in the second half of the 20th century, As a result, the latest decade is the paramount point of the translation of the Chinese works, which yield value to the present and future studies. |
