    Abstract: 宋承五代喪亂之餘，懲於二百年來藩鎮割據跋扈之禍，故厲行中央集權，崇尚文治，學校制度雖皆沿襲唐代，但崇儒興學則較唐代為尤盛，制度亦較唐代完備。宋代有關學制法令，見於宋史卷二○四藝文志三者，有李定元豐新修國子監太學、小學元新格十卷，又令十三卷，賈昌朝慶曆編敕律學武學敕式共二卷，武學敕令格式一卷，（元豐間），朱服國子監支費令式一卷，紹聖續修武學敕令格式看詳并淨條十八冊，紹聖續修律學敕令格式看詳并淨條十二冊，徽宗崇寧國子監算學敕令格式一部，諸路州縣學法一部，國子太學辟雍并小學敕令格式申明一時指揮目錄看詳一百六十八冊，鄭居中政和新修學法一百三十卷，李圖南宗子大小學教令格式十五冊、孟昌齡政和重修國子監律學敕令格式一百卷，八行八刑條一卷，崇寧學制一卷，鄭居中學制書一百三十卷，蔡京政和續編諸路州縣學敕令格式十八卷等十七種。兩宋學制改革前後計十二次，其中北宋有十次（包括慶曆、熙寧、元豐、元祐前後二次改革、紹聖、元符、崇寧、大觀，政和），南宋有二次（紹興、淳熙）。
