    Abstract: 本計畫簡稱為TEPS-B 2013,其目的是繼續「台灣教育長期追蹤資料庫」(TEPS)及「『台灣教育長期追蹤資料庫』後續調查:教育與勞力市場連結」第一期(TEPS-B 2009)等兩項有延續性之長期追蹤調查資料庫的建置工作。本計畫執行擬於2013 年6月起至2017年 5月止共四年。本計畫主要有三大任務: 1、追蹤調查,包括(1)Panel 1/2 CP及Panel 1 NCP之電訪及面訪調查:此二樣本為TEPS於2001年及2003年調查之國中生樣本。2005年時約四千人就讀高中職五專的Panel 1/2 CP再度接受TEPS的追蹤至2007年為止。Panel 1 NCP則於國中畢業後就沒接受TEPS的追蹤。此二樣本的重要性在於接受TEPS調查時的年紀最小,且Panel 1/2 CP有最長及豐富的追蹤調查資料;(2)Panel 2 NP電訪調查:此樣本是Panel 1/2 CP於2005年及2007年就讀高中職五專時也接受TEPS調查的同學。此樣本於2007年接受TEPS第二次調查後,至今仍未再追蹤接觸;(3)Panel 1 SH再度電訪:Panel 1 SH為TEPS於2001年及2003年調查之高中職五專樣本。TEPS-B 2009曾於2009年電訪此樣本,並得到相當比例受訪者的電郵地址,故其再度追蹤將嘗試以網路調查為主,電訪調查為輔。 2、資料整理及串連工作。 3、辦理TEPS-B資料使用工作坊:由於TEPS-B 2009之資料將陸續整理完成,故本計畫也將規劃於2014年舉行TEPS-B資料使用工作坊,以提倡學界對TEPS及TEPS-B的瞭解及使用
    The proposed project is named as “Taiwan Education Panel Survey and Beyond 2013-2017” (TEPS-B 2013). It intends to conduct follow-up surveys of respondents participating in the Taiwan Educational Panel Survey (TEPS) and the TEPS and Beyond 2009 (TEPS-B 2009). The goal of the proposed project is to investigate the transition from school to work of two cohorts born respectively in 1984/1985 and in 1988/1989. The proposed project will be a four-year project planned to be carried out between June 2013 and May 2017 with three major tasks: 1. Follow-up surveys: The proposed follow-up surveys include (1) Phone and face-to-face interview surveys of Panel 1/2 CP and Panel 1 NCP, which were samples of junior high students surveyed by the TEPS in 2001 and 2003. Pane1 1/2 CP was surveyed again as senior high students by the TEPS in 2005 and 2007. Panel 1 NCP was not followed up by the TEPS when the panel was in senior high. These two panels are very important to be further tracked down since they were the youngest cohort when surveyed by the TEPS in 2001 and Panel 1/2 CP has the longest record of being followed by the TEPS and the TEPS-B 2009. (2) The phone survey of Panel 2 NP: Panel 2 NP was surveyed by the TEPS in 2005 and 2007 and was classmates of Panel 1/2 CP in senior high. The panel was never being followed since 2007. (3) The phone or web survey of Panel 1 SH: Panel 1 SH was the sample of senior high students surveyed by the TEPS in 2001 and 2003. The TEPS-B 2009 further surveyed the sample with a phone survey and then in 2010, a subsample of this panel was followed up with the face-to-face interview survey. 2. Data cleaning and data linkage: Massive amount of new survey data will be collected by the proposed project. After the data of the proposed project are well cleaned, the data will be linked with the TEPS and the TEPS-B 2009 data. 3. TEPS-B workshop: Since the data of the TEPS-B 2009 will soon be released to the public, the proposed project will also organize a workshop in 2014 to promote the usage of the TEPS and TEPS-B data.
