Introduction: 本所成立於民國八十五年,成立之初分為三個領域:圖書資訊學、檔案學與博物館學。自民國九十二年易名為圖書資訊與檔案學研究所,以促進圖書資訊學與檔案學二種領域的整合。本所成立的宗旨在培育理論與實務並重之圖書資訊與檔案學之高級專業人才,並與其他相關學門領域融合而成特色,教學上與各大學合作跨校選課,有助於學生彈性化學習,掌握多元化的資訊環境,培育出知識經濟時代之高科技人才,進而提升資訊服務的新境界。圖書資訊與檔案學研究所
