    Abstract: 論文提要
    本論文共分六章，主要是在探討南投縣專業農戶擴大農場經營規模之能力，途徑與展望。全文的重心在專業農戶基本經營狀況的探討與意願的分析上。玆將各章提要簡述如下：
    第一章結論：本章主要在說明本研究的動機與目的，方法與步驟，並對資料來源加以說明，對有關名詞加以界定。
    第二章專業農戶擴大農場經營規模之理論與方式：本章對於專業農戶擴大農場經營規模之理論加以闡述，並對中、日、韓三國擴大農場經營規模之方式加以分析，藉以明瞭小農經營制國家，對於擴大農場經營規模的未來發展趨勢。進而研擬出專業農戶擴大農場經營規模之構想。
    第三章南投縣專業農戶的經營現況及趨勢：本章主要在探討南投縣農業發展的未來方向及專業農戶的經營狀況，並以專、兼業農戶作一比較，以了解專業農戶的特性及在農業經營的困難與限制。
    第四章南投縣專業農戶調查分析：本章乃利用原始的調查資料，以卡方檢定方式，探討農場經營規模與農場經營情形的關係，並對專業農戶擴大農場經營規模之意願加以深入的分析，以明瞭專業農戶在農業經營上的能力及在擴大農場經營規模的癥結。
    第五章：南投縣專業農戶擴大農場經營規模之途徑與展望：本章乃針對研究結果，配合現行政府擴大農場經營規模之推行措施與法令之探討，闡述專業農戶以各種擴大農場經營規模的方式的展望。
    第六章：結論與建議：本章乃就上述各章所獲致的結論作一摘要，並提出若干建議，以為南投縣推行專業農戶擴大農場經營規模的參考。
