Abstract:	信用狀為國際貿易最主要的付款方式。信用狀係銀行（開關銀行）徇顧客（信用狀申請人，即買受人）之請求，開發給受益人（出賣人）之一種文書，承諾受益人提供符合信用狀條款規定之單據，即給付一定金額之款項。因此，信用狀交易之當事人所處理者係單據，而單據之製作與審核實可謂其靈魂之所在。本文之目的，即針對信用狀項下單據之製作與審核，詳加析述。其範圍包括下列項目：統一慣例之法律地位；信用狀交易之特性；信用狀交易當事人之法律關係；單據之製作與審核之原則；各項單據之製作與審核；信用狀交易糾紛之預防與解決。
