Abstract:	全文共分為五章, 首章為緒論, 末章為結論。第二章為選擇準則, 說明各種準則函數 ,此為挑選變數與比較方程式優略之依据。其內容有殘差平方和, 多元相關數平方R2及-R2、誤差平方總和CP、平均預測變異量JP、預測平方和等。第三章為基本技巧, 其含有所有可能迴歸法、最優法、逐步迴歸, 并說明各技巧之特性及優缺點, 以及計算步。第四章為應用技巧, 利用偏估計式之特性, 將之和基本技巧相結合, 此外尚有因素分析及集群分析法。偏估計式中有主要成分分析、脊迴歸。
