Abstract:	公營事業在我國的經濟史上一直扮演著很重要的角色無論是在經濟的穩定方面或在經濟的發展方面。本篇即從這一角度上來做分析，首先探討公營存在的理由及公營的定義，其後對公營事業在經濟發展的角色上做一連串的分析，分別研究我國公營事業的範圍，公營事業的規模大小，公營事業醬集中的程度，公營事業生產效率的大小，公營事業能源的密集程度，然後再分析公營事業在資本形成上所扮演的角色，在就業提供上的貢獻，在產出上的貢獻，及外匯賺取上的貢獻，並將以上的各種分析與我國的民營企業或外國的公營事業做一淺顯的比較，最後由以上的分析做一結論。
