Abstract:	本論文之主要目的是，以實證分析，探討台灣地區之；物價水準及其變動與利率水準間的關係，共為一冊，約四英字，分五章八節，其主要內容如後：第一章：敘述本訥文之目的及研究方法。第二章：檢討與論文主題有關之文獻，分別檢討Fisher, Gibson. Mudell等人的利率與價格預期理論；並檢討有關價格形成之模型與有關實證研究方法及結果。第三章：為實證部份。以時間收列分析方法，對近三十年來，台灣的貨幣存量、躉售價格指數及消費者價價的關係、價格變動與價格預期及其利率水準之關係。第四章：就實證結果探討其在貨幣政策上的意義。第五章：結論與建議。
