Abstract:	本論文以一九二○年代前期台灣知識份子的非武力抗日運動為研究主題。日據時期的台灣，在日本殖民政府高壓統治下，被治的漢民族雖深懷不滿，但武力反抗均告失敗。到一九二○年代，受新式教育的知識份子逐漸崛起，在歐戰後民族主義、民主政治、社會主義等思潮刺激下，改以合法手段展開了非武力的反抗運動。這運動由東京留學生肇始，在島內得到廣泛的響應。以台灣議會設置請願運動、台灣文化協會、台灣民報等三者為中心，形成一個全面性的改革運動，對台灣社會發生了強大的衝擊。隨著運動的發展，意識形態與利益相殊的知識份子之間也逐漸發生了歧見與衝突，終而公開分裂。
