Title:	期中報表預測功能之研究

Abstract:	共壹冊，五萬餘字，扼要說明於左：研究動機與目的：會計係服務性的活動，其基本功能是提供各項數量資料，以協助經濟個體，作為決策之參考，而社會環境之變遷，企業逐漸由家族式邁向大眾化，也更加強管理當局對社會大眾之責任。通常投資者最關心的莫過於企業未來之前途、遠景，而預測未來之變化，單憑過去之年度報表，似嫌不足，且年度報表在時效性上，不能滿足報表使用者，因此有所謂的，以短於一個會計年度的報表產生，本文係就此期中報表對閱表者之貢獻，予實證之研究，因為期中報表之編製，增添企業人力、財力的問題，而證管會曾以行政命令要求各上市公司儘可能編製每季的期中報表，所以本文以實證之結果，表示期中報表資料在預測年度盈餘之功能。每章概述：第一章導論。說明研究動機、目的，主要假設與邏輯網、研究範圍與限制、研究方法。第二章期中報表簡介。說明期中報表之意義與功能，期中報表在美國發展之演變，並討論編製、發行期中報表的問題。第三章期中報表在美國之實證。說實證方法的採用，對期中報表功能的意見，並加述研究之發展趨勢。第四章期中報表在我國之實證，說明樣本之採用，並以單純插補法，分別探討64年、65年、66年的資料，且分析之。第五章結論與建議。
