Abstract:	論文共一冊分六章二十一節計四萬餘字。論文內容扼要說明：第一章說明研究的動機、目的、方法、限制，以及研究的範圍與資料來源。第二章分析台灣上市公司財務結構概況，包括行業別、公司別及綜合的分析。第三章探討資本成本的觀念、衡量方法及其在財務管理上之應用，並列表計算上市公司之資本成本。第四章研討財務結構理論，分別介紹傳統學派及三，Ｍ學派對企業最適財務結構－－使資本成本篇最低之財務結構的不同看法，並輔以本國及外國的實證研究。第五章財務結構之決策分析，說明選擇最適財務結構所應考慮的因素及決策方法。第六章為本文之結論及建議。
