Title:	產品循環理論之研究

Abstract:	礦業、農業和製造業等，凡是具有高比例的國內可用天然資源的產品，我們定義為Richardo goods這些產品的比較利益決定於國內或區內天然資源的稟賦，這是很容易觀察而不需要經濟理由來說明的事實。除了Ricardo goods之外，其他產品都經過一個循環的階段－由新產品變為成熟品，再由成熟品變為標準品。由於新產品的生產需要相當的技術投入，因此擁有較多技術人員的先進國家－通常是美國－曾先開始新產品的生產。但是隨著需要的擴展，產品開始某種程度的標準化，因此生產成本的重要性開始取代產品的特徵，同時由於生產技術的趨於穩定，使得技術移轉到他國較為容易，再加上其他先進國國內市場對該項親產品的需求擴大，足以支持國內的生產，因此生產區位開始移轉到生產成本比美國低的其他先進國家。最後，由於產品的標準化，使得生產過程中所需要的技術投入較少，同時由於產品規格的一致，使得比較利益建立在廉價的勞力成本上，因此開發中國家開始生產這項標準品，並且，當勞力成本的差異大於運輸成本時，開發中國家將出口這項產品到美國市場和其他先進國家的市場。
