Abstract:	第一章敘述有關於直線道路上的一些管制系統，分別解釋出同亮系統、遞亮系統、有限遞亮系統等三種直線道路上的控制法，它們的演進，及它們之間的關係情形。第二章即是本文的中心所在，它以線型規劃的方式敘述出了有關於直線道路上管制方法之新觀念，並利用此新觀念作出了對於網路交通之規劃情形。第三章敘述出一些其他道路的管制法並討論其適用性及優劣點。第四章敘述一些解決第二章所作出模型的方法，逐步講述出其演進情況。第五章以承德路、民族西路、重慶北路、民權西路等四條道路所構成的網路作出一個交通模式，並述出道路交通的簡化原則。
