Abstract:	首章寶卷之題名：試解寶卷諸題名之意義。次章寶卷之淵源與流變：分論古寶卷與新寶卷之產生，以為古寶卷乃繼變文之講唱體裁，而為宋、元以來佛徒科儀書等之仿造。第三章寶卷之體制：論述寶卷韻散相間之結構、引用樂曲情形，及清嘉慶後寶卷由敘述體變為代言體之原因、情形。第四章寶卷之內容：分佛教類、秘密宗教類、改編戲劇、小說與民間傳說類、雜卷（敷演時事與文字遊戲等）四類，分析其內容旨意。第五章寶卷之宣講、述說古來寶卷之宣講、流通情形。第六章寶卷之文學價值：寶卷為俗文學中最重要之一環，故就其表現精神、文字結構探究其文學價值及其對其他說唱技藝之影響。本論文後附寶卷敘錄：將中央研究院史語所藏寶卷及本人收集所得共五十餘種各作提要。
