    Abstract: 本論文名為「英國目由黨之式微」，全文共分八章，約九萬餘字。第一章「緒言」
    ，說明本文寫作的目的及本文所探討的內容大要。第二章「自由黨之演進」，對於
    自由黨之起源、發展和衰落做一歷史的簡述。第三章「古典自由主義對自由黨的影
    響」，說明自由黨在十九世紀吸引選民的各項自由主義政策，到二十世紀已經對選
    民失去吸引，而使自由黨失敗。第四章「自由黨領導的分裂」，分析愛爾蘭自治法
    案引起自由黨分裂的原因及其影響; 並探討魯易喬治和愛斯葵長期紛爭的原因及其
    影響。第五章「工黨對自由黨之衝擊」，分析工人脫離自由黨之原因及影響的以及
    工黨採取社會主義政策對自由黨的影響。第六章「英國選舉制度對自由黨的打擊」
    ，說明英國單一選舉區多數當選制加速自由黨沒落的原因，並探討選舉制度改革的
    困難。第七章「自由黨在候選人及財政方面所面臨的困境」，指出自由黨缺乏候選
    人及經費的原因，及其對自由黨的影響。第八章「結論」，對自由黨沒落之原因做
    一總說明與
