Abstract:	本書乃是歐盟11個國家社會企業研究方案的成果報告，全書除導論及結論外，另包含四大分析主軸，合計19章。本書以工作整合社會企業作為研究焦點，導論認為社會企業除EMES 研究網絡所提社會與經濟目標外，更強調社會政策目標的實踐，而在此政府政策扮演重要角色，基此，本書提出社會企業研究的三大關鍵問題，進而從治理、資源均衡、生產活動本質，及社會企業與公共政策互動等四個角度加以分析，最後，本書結論建議社會企業應是獨立於政府、市場、與公民社會外之獨立部門。是以，本文書評包含兩大部分，首先從定義、分析主軸及結論三大面向，介紹本書的重要內容；其次，提出未來研究的相關議題，本文認為社會企業的定義，及其在台灣的政策轉化，乃是未來研究可以持續關注的焦點，本文也試圖提出一些初步構想以資參考。本書對於政府與民間部門的公私協力關係，從政策角度提出新的治理模式，故相當值得公共行政研究的參考。
