    Title: 考慮經濟結構變遷下，台灣製造業研究發展對生產力貢獻之實證研究

    Abstract: 　　研究發展的投資，以及生產過程中的創新是提高生產力的主要助力之一。在1986年以前，製造業R&D支出平均年增率只有2.67%，而在1987年以後，平均年增率上升為11.83%。這些研究發展的努力其對生產力之貢獻為何？將是本文探討之重點。本文將以製造業1981-1992年各分業資料為實證分析對象。
    　　本文如同Griliches，Mansfield等之分析方法，假設一生產函數，將R&D資本存主視為一要素投入，首於生產函數中。經過轉換，使得R&D資本存量變動率對總要素生產力之貢獻為其產出彈性。因此在模型中，對R&D資本存圭之產出彈性進行估計。但是R&D投入為一資本存量的概念，再加上研究發展投資具有外溢性、時間落差以及或因過時而作廢等特性，使得在估計時很難得知當期究竟投入多少R&D投資。所以，本文首先在不考慮外溢效果下，對R&D資本存量之折舊率與時間落差做不同之假設，檢視在不同的假設下估計結果之差異。更進一步的，本文探討研究發展與生產力之關係是否因經濟結構之變遷以及研發支出之多寡而有顯著之影響。
    　　實證研究之結果，重要結論可歸納如下：一、在落差0期之R&D資本存量之假設，得到較高之解釋能力，而且得到正的產出彈性，或許意味著在不考慮時間落差之迴歸模型較適合。二、比較1981-1986年以及I987-1992年之估計結果。大致說來，在1987年以後研究發展對生產力之貢獻或與生產力之關係均較1986年前有更好之績效。三、在高、中研究發展產業，其R&D資本存量之產出彈性都有良好之表現，而且其勞動產出彈性亦較高。
