    Abstract: 21世紀初，正向心理學興起。心理學的研究趨勢，正式從原先強調人類的病態行為研究，派典轉移到研究人類原本即具有的健康、優勢長處、正向行為和成就表現等問題。素有「正向心理學之父」尊稱的馬汀‧塞利格曼（Martin E. P. Seligman）教授，也在其新近著作中宣稱正向心理學應該是一門研究幸福感（well-being）而不只是快樂（happiness）的科學。因此，本書即是透過引經據典，延伸闡述正向心理學的研究報告與心得，並提出筆者對「幸福感」研究的新主張──「幸福金字塔模型」理論，作為本書的學術理論基礎，同時據以說明造成不幸福的來源、如何獲得幸福的方法，以及追求永續幸福的應有作為。期許每位讀者都能經由閱讀本書及實際演練每章的練習作業，獲得一個圓滿的幸福人生。
