    Abstract: The purpose of the study was to investigate the brief history of archival education in China. China archival education started from Mary Elizabeth Wood established Boone Library School in WuChang and the school included archives management courses. In the other hand, the Government reformed records and archives management policies and regulations from 1930s, which also needed archival professional. The study described archival education before 1949 and after 1949 in Taiwan briefly. Depend on the currents status of archival education and archival practices in Taiwan, the study given related recommendations.
