Abstract:	中國在2001年加入WTO後，經濟開放程度加深，金融業也面臨強烈競爭。隨著中國經濟成長，中國銀行業也快速擴張，2007年已有45家銀行進入全球一千大；中國銀行業也因此加速國際化腳步對外擴張據點。本文以全體中國銀行業在29個國家設立的120個海外分支機構，研究影響中國銀行業國際化拓展的主要地主國區位因素，發現最重要的因素為中國企業的海外直接投資與出口。也發現中國銀行業的對外直接投資，有追隨中國企業國際化腳步的漸進程序趨勢。 Past studies have suggested that internationalization is an important tool for firms to increase efficiency. After being a member of WTO, Chinese banking industry has been under fierce competition. This research stresses on the entry location factors which may affect internationalization strategy of Chinese banks. We analyze 120 affiliates of all Chinese commercial banks in 29 countries in the end of 2006. The results show that Chinese multinational enterprises’ foreign direct investment（FDI）and Chinese exports are key determinants of location choice of Chinese Banks. In addition, the Chinese banks mainly apply an internationalization process of sequential expansion following the internationalization process of Chinese multinational enterprises.
