    Title: 影響我國高等教育機構研究出產力之因素

    Abstract: 本研究以全國104所大學院校為樣本（全部取樣），以正式的官方統計資料為依據，探討影響大專院校教師研究出產力的因素。以民70、71年度各校獲國科會研究獎助之論文篇數為依變項，以學校選擇性，中、英文期刊種類數，教師中擁有博士人數、及碩士人數、為自變項作迴歸分析。在投入迴歸方程之前，將各變項（學校選擇性除外）分別除以各校專任教師數以得相對值。另外，由於自變項間相關係數甚高而產生多共線性問題，故以縮減模式尋找有影響力的自變項。結果發現研究出產力有顯著影響力的因素有具博士學位之教師數、英文期刊種類數，及學校選擇性。結果是用社會進化論及社會系統理論來解釋，即一個科學系統愈具備了適合科學家生存的環境，且在此環境生存的，具研究出產力的科學家愈多，則該科學系統的研究出產力會愈高。另外本研究也支持派典發展論的假設，即派典發展高的科學，由於科學家對理論與方法論有高的共識，且理論也有高度的符號化，故知識核心較豐富，故科學家在較短的時間即能精確了解前人的智識累積，而投入研究先峰中，且能根據理論導出假設來作研究，故研究出產力較高。
