Abstract:	教師在實際教學過程中，經常要作「如何進行教學才好」的決策，使教學之進行能夠得到最適之控制。然則在作此項決策之時，必須有足夠情報資料以作決策時之依據，方能作出最佳決策。是故，教師在實際進行教學時，宜設法獲取全班級及個別學生之學習達成水準或理解程度有關之情報，同時也須對教材組織構造與教學方式進行檢討改進，方可獲致教學之最佳效果。因此，教師為獲取前述各項情報，對其所教授學習內容作成就評量測驗為必行之手段。在教學進行中，平時練習題之習作與各型測驗資料，便成為教師掌握學生學習實態或作學習診斷時之寶貴資料。本文將以臺北市私立奎山中學初中部二年級甲班作為教學實驗之對象，就現行教科書中「分解因式」單元進行教學前，實施兩次診斷測驗。每次測驗之後，利用S－P表，設計軟體程式，以個人電腦處理各項資料，並且作正答、誤答及無答之類型特性分析以及計算注意指標（學生注意指標與問題注意指標），由注意指標值之變化、觀察並比較學生學習推移之狀況，以作為教師教學之參考。
