    Abstract: 兩岸政治定位的問題一直是一九四九年以來困擾兩邊當局的棘手事件。從最初雙方一直堅持地相互否定對方的合法性與存在事實始，經過過中期北京單方面的中央與地方的對視，終於到了台北打破敵視態度，在承認分裂分治的前提下，希望喚起北京同意彼此互不否定為政治實體的善意回應。本論文便從政治定位的需要性、可行性以及接受性三個層面來探討台北與北京的立場與趨向。同時也提供了一個思考層面；那便是兩岸政治接觸在邁向統一的路程上若終將不可避免的話，那麼兩岸的政治定位在最後勢必需要有一個雙方均可接受的方案出現。
