Abstract:	呂坤生於明代後期，曾為高官，亦是學者，屬儒家，有頗為豐富的著作。其政治思想承儒家，而由從政經驗中體悟而出，既銜接傳統，又富時代意義。其論政以人性論、歷史觀與理勢利為理論基礎。其所論及的重要政治課題，一為民本主義：主重視人民地位，尊重民意、恤民、安民、養民與教民。二為人治與法治：對人治與法治均表重視，強調人才的選用與培養，以寬大不苛、恆久普遍與慎立新法為立法的原則，以不變道本，不驟變硬變與盡可能不變為變法的原則，以大公無我與徹底嚴格為行法的原則，以刑與賞為行法的方法。三為治道與治術：於治道主立規模、反苟仍、少作為、順人情、平恕均、尚寬簡與公而無私；於治術主取漸進、少更易、馭民情、協眾心、省文法、本未兼治與禮刑相資。四為君臣角色：以為君以非常重要的地位，應負非常重要的職責，須具無欲、有容、有教養等條件，有畏天、畏民、畏言官及史官、振作不懈與善用威恩等行為；臣居君下，應負輔君主、美朝政與善鄉俗等職責，須具聖賢心腸、英雄才識與偉大抱負等條件，有守分忠君、盡心滿分、自我要求、留心鄙瑣、有耐心、行身教、守五要與戒喜事等行為。
