    Abstract: 「法蘭克福學派」從其第一代領導人物霍克海默(Max Horkheimer)、阿多諾(Theodor W.Adorno)、馬庫色(Herbert Marcuse)、班傑明(Walter Benjamin)到第二、第三代之哈伯馬斯(Jurgen Habermas)、韋瑪(Albercht Wellmer)等，其社會批判理論，儘管偏重點有所不同，但都直接或間接地關聯到大眾文化批判，因此，針對此一主題作論述時，他們的作品自然都不應有所忽略。然則，本文限於篇幅，所欲探討的對象僅限於霍克海默、阿多諾及哈伯馬斯這三位，希望藉著對他們的研究，凸顯出該學派批判大眾文化的一般趨勢及其重要轉折。
