Abstract:	本文旨在探討租稅政策對短期與長期經濟重要變數如所得、物價、匯率或國際收支等之影響。本文首先修正傳統總體經濟模式之缺陷，認為短期與長期總供給皆應是直接稅之函數。進而與總需要函數結合，討論在自由浮動匯率與固定匯率兩種不同制度下，變動稅率、增加政府支出與改變貨幣供給量對上述內生變數的影響，並比較三種政策的效果以斷定孰優孰劣。結論為降低稅率能夠增加產出與維持物價穩定；增加貨幣供給除導致物價上漲外，對產出之作用不確定；增加公共支出，雖能促進生產，卻對物價可能有不利影響，因此，三者之中租稅政策所具經濟穩定的效果最佳。
