    Abstract: 本文從社會科學研究的方法典範－－實證論與自然論的爭辯出發，進而深入探索兩種典範所支持的兩種不同的研究方法－－量與質的研究方法的特徵與對立，最后，並試圖從方法論與研究方法兩個層面，對質與量兩種研究方法整合的可能性、可行性與實際應用的情形，加以討論與檢視，並得出整合該兩種研究方法的實際策略；而且也發現經由三角測量法及多元方法研究的實踐與邏輯辯證關係的發展，社會科學研究的多重典範（如實證論與自然論）間，並非一定像孔恩所說的彼此間是不可共量與相容的。基於對真理的追求與社會實體的探索，我們在方法論及研究方法方面，切忌獨斷相互排斥。誠如維根斯坦所言，多重典範的爭辯只是對實體切入面不同所引起，每種典範與研究方法均對實體面發現有它的貢獻，不可任意相互排斥。惟有在相輔相成的合作關係下，我們對實體知識的了解才會增進。「道並行而不相悖」，期待國內社會科學界在追求社會實體的了解與社會正義實踐的路途上能相輔相成，正視質與量兩種研究方法均有其功用，並認識到此兩種研究途徑混合與整合的優點。因此，在朝向研究方法整合，超越與創造性轉化的艱辛旅程中，學者應相互包容與對話，勇於反對權威與獨斷，並培養寬廣的知識論與方法論視野，及開闊的胸襟。而方法論大師費若本(Paul Feyerabend, 1975)的名言：「什麼都可以」(Anything goes)，益顯重要與值得我們深思反省。
