Abstract:	舊唐書經籍志據古今書錄，所收經籍，僅到開元年間，此後兩百年唐人撰述從缺，如文中韓柳，詩中李杜，俱未入錄。新唐書藝文志補舊志之缺，增錄唐人撰述千餘種，後世考唐三百年撰述，新志優於舊志，又每能考作者行事，補史傳之未備。然新唐志以書類人，淆亂類例，鄭樵、劉咸炘等，均有批評，宋志等則加仿效。兩唐志各有所長，沈炳震合鈔，中華書局合志，均欲合併兩志，而以新志牽就舊志，更形混亂。本文綜合各家所論，以研討新唐志之得失。
