Abstract:	本文以文獻分析及統計資料分析方法探討國內外大專教師聘任及待遇之理論與實際，以歸　納出合理大專教師聘任及待遇之內涵，並以之比較、分析我國大專教師聘任及待遇之待商　榷處，從而提出改進我國大專教師聘任及待遇之六項建議：　一、延長試聘期間為三至六年。　二、延長期任制及聘期或改採永任制。　三、設定年資薪給晉級之效率標竿。　四、另訂獎勵對學術具有卓越貢獻之教授等級及待遇。　五、解聘及不續聘教師應有法律處置程序之規定。　六、頒佈月支薪給標準，應注意大專教師起薪及最高薪級之市場競爭性。
