    Title: 電腦網路上的遠距學習與測驗

    Abstract: 由於電腦網路的發展漸趨成熟，透過網路進行教學已不再是夢想。一個成功的遠距學習環境必須能模擬傳統環境的精神，即在課堂上老師與學生間能彼此互動，而課餘時同學間亦能互相討論。此外，若能進行隨堂測驗或練習，則更能加強學習的動機與成效，並評估個人或群體的學習效果。
    針對上述幾點，我們發展出三套系統以提供所需之功能。第一套為“多點傳輸主幹上之桌上型虛擬教室系統“，此系統提供傳統教育環境下師生間的互動功能：開課者（老師）可開一堂課讓參與者（學生）加入，並將影像及聲音多點傳給課堂上的所有的參與者，而參與者能從自己的螢幕及喇叭看到並聽到開課者。第二套為“CORAL*：多伺器架構的遠距合作學習系統”，此系統是一個以全球資訊網為基礎的遠距合作學習環境，使用者可讀取遠端教材，找尋學習同伴並透過共用白版或交談來進行線上討論。第三套為“WebCAT*：多伺服器的電腦輔助測驗系統”，此系統亦架構在全球資訊網上，老師可透過瀏覽器輸入考題、指定考試範圍等，而學生則可進行線上考試或練習，以幫助對該課程的了解，考試結果皆會記錄在資料庫內，以供往後的參考。
