    Title: 防毒軟體產業競爭與防禦率之策略性選擇

    Abstract: 本文建構一個多階段的賽局模型來表徵防毒軟體產業的均衡，除了分析防毒軟體廠商如何決定防禦率與價格外，並進一步探討最適防禦率與價格又如何影響消費者的購買決策。本文得到的結論是：由於網路外部性的關係，廠商會策略性地降低其軟體的防禦能力，故兩家廠商的最適防禦率皆低於100 %。另外，本文指出高禦率者高價格，以及防毒軟體產業是一個防禦率具有差異性的異質性競爭產業，這些結果與市場上的評鑑資料相當符合。
