Title:	以Java運算為機制之非同步視訊多媒體互動式遠距教學系統

Abstract:	近年來在教育部積極推動下，遠距教學在國內已有顯著的成長，尤其伴隨著資訊科技的創新發展，各級學校皆把遠距教學列為改善教學品質重點方向之一。為彌補傳統以ISDN高成本且易受時空限制之群播式教學，教育部擬定了教材上網計劃，基本上即是將同步教學教材Web化。然在視訊教材Web化過程中，易忽略了學生互動性學習的基本要求。有別於其他教材上網計劃所採用靜態式單向學習法，本研究導入Java新一代的網路運算平台技術，並著重視訊媒體的整合。於此，本研究完成了文獻上第一套結合RealPlayer與Java兩種技術所研發的非同步視訊多媒體互動式遠距教學系統。在遠距教學技術方面，開創了物件式Web異質環境的新領域。在教學功能上，本系統概分為學生與課程管理子系統以及提供了學習者一個活潑的互動式多媒體學習環境。經由配合實際課程實驗證明，本系統符合成本效益與學習效果，更重要的是，具有廣泛的應用領域。
