Title:	調查資料之遺漏值的處置——以熱卡插補法為例

Abstract:	遺漏值(missing values) 之出現，似乎是處理社會學調查資料時，所面臨之不可避免難題。事質上，長久以來，社會學家早已體認此一事實，然而，多年來，社會學家進行實證研究分析之際，面對遺漏值的議題，除了少數嫻熟統計理論與電腦程式的學者之外，往往採取『棄之不理』的策略。固然大家深知此種處置方式即將引發諸多困境，諸如選擇偏誤(selection bias) 、甚或樣本規模嚴重流失等，但是，既存相關的統計文獻，普遍晦澀艱深，同時，目前盛行的電腦統計軟體並未提供簡易套裝程式直接處理遺漏值問題。導致結果，社會學家雖然深刻體認必須處置遺漏值問題，可是，現實上却又無從追隨，只有忍痛割愛。這篇論文的主旨，就是一般性地介紹討論遺漏值處置議題。首先探討社會學調查資料中所出現的遺漏值課題，尤其指出遺漏值可能引發的一些困境。其次，我們介紹若干還漏值的處置方式(treatments) 或是策略;然後，本文以實際的調查資料為例，應用所謂熱卡插補方法，處置調查資料中的遺漏值。
