    Abstract: 近年“Fintech”一詞旋起各界的關注,在商業領域有無限的想像空間,本個案研究以象徵傳統參與者的銀行作為研究對象,並著眼於行動支付這個相對成熟的領域,藉由成本與效益的觀點彙整結果並探討其投資新業務的脈絡,找出銀行投入的理由、投入的成本項目、為此所做的管理行動、產生的效益以及這當中面臨的主要經營問題。得出研究結論如下:

    一、 發展行動支付的理由是為了成為先行者追逐擴張中的市場並在移轉中的市場中站穩腳步
    二、 全方位的成本投入,最多的在基礎建設與行銷成本
    三、 管理是投資後整合內、外部資源並創造價值給客戶的過程,當中最關鍵者為外部關係的建立
    四、 僅看見非財務效益的產生,財務效益尚未明朗,最終回歸客戶價值
    五、 最大的問題在於人
    “Fintech” as a word draws the world’s attention. It creates an infinity imagination. This is a case study which takes Bank is the symbolic of incumbent participant as research subject and focus on mobile payment which is a relatively mature field of Fintech. We use cost-effective perspective to summarize the results and explore the context of investing a new business. Finding the reason of why banks put in this business, what costs to input, what are the derived management actions are, what benefits to generate from these actions and the main problem to face in this process. We find the conclusions as followings:

    1. The reason to put in mobile payment is for being First-mover to chase the emerging market and sustain their market share in the transferring market.
    2. There are comprehensive costs input. Infrastructure and marketing costs are the most.
    3. Management is the process to integrate internal and external resources after investment. The key success factor is to build external relationship.
    4. Financial benefits are not in evidence. Only non-financial benefit generated nowadays. Return to customer value.
    5. “People” is the crucial problem.
