    Title: 台灣軍人年金改革對其族群消費者行為之影響
    The consumer behavior changes of Taiwan military personnel after the pension fund reform

    In 2016, President of Taiwan Ing-Wen Tsai released the document of the military, civil servants and teacher pension fund reformation draft. This announcement had caused dramatic controversy in the Taiwan society. This article will focus on the military personnel’s attitude toward this reformation and how their consumer behavior changed after this reformation will influence the Taiwan society.
    As the formation of the pension fund involve a complex history, this article will be introducing the Taiwan military personnel pension fund background and analyzing the reformation major proposition of the government as well as conducting a literature review and comparison between the new pension fund system with countries like USA. Two surveys were conducted targeting active officers and veterans asking their opinions and behaviors before and after the reformation to create their ethnography. The result has shown that currently active officers’ behavior does not have significant changes but are reconsidering their retirement plan. In addition, veterans show dramatically behavior changes due to their age and capability of returning to the workforce which caused them to decrease their expenses.
    Although the reformation has its necessity and with good intention, the approach seems to be too intense to the society and which caused the decrease in demand.
